Advantages of Cupro
1.Good dyeing, color rendering and color fastness:
The dyeing is bright with high dye-uptake. It is not easy to fade with good stability. Wide range of colors is available for selection.
2.Good drapability
Its fiber density is bigger than that of silk and polyester, etc. Thus it has very good drapability.
3.Anti-static and skin-friendly
It has high moisture regain, which is only second to that of animal wool fiber and higher than that of cotton, flax and other chemical fibers. For its high efficiency of moisture absorption and moisture liberation and lower specific resistivity, it has good anti-static property. Also it has good moisture absorption and good breathability, it has good skin-friendly performance. It is comfortable for wearing.
4.Good hand feeling
Its longitudinal surface is smooth. When contact with human skin, it feels soft and comfortable. It has exquisite, smooth and dry handle.
5.Environmentally-friendly
It is extracted from natural fiber. It is an environmentally-friendly fabric that can be naturally degraded.
Disadvantages of Cupro
1.Easy to wrinkle
Its source is cotton, so it must be easy to wrinkle.
2.Strict washing requirements
It can be washed by alkaline detergent, because it will become brittle when contact with alkali. It can be washed by neutral detergent. And it cannot be washed by machine. It should be washed by gently hand in cold water.
3.Low strength
Cupro fiber is finer than viscose fiber. It is relatively fragile fiber. And its strength is lower than that of cotton and flax.
4.Not resistant to heat
When ironing, the iron cannot directly contact with fabric surface. And it is suggested to use low temperature steam hanging ironing.
