How to Choose Sun-protective Clothing?
1.Label
Please note the UV PROOF or UPF grade label on clothing. That means the fabric has had anti-UV finishing and test.
2.Fabric
Nylon and polyester are the most commonly used in the market. The good fabric is soft and elastic and light-weight. It is easy to clean and comfortable for wearing. The fabric with fine and tight texture has fewer transmission of light, so the sun-proof effect is better. It needs to avoid purchasing the sun-protective clothing treated by coating method. It has bad breathability. It is not comfortable for wearing. After washing, the coating is easy to fall off, so the sun-proof effect is decreased.
3.Color
Dark color sun-protective clothing reflects ultraviolet light better than light color one. So when choosing sun-protective clothing, it is better to choose dark color ones, as black and red.
