The finishing processing is to process the fabrics with washable antibacterial agent, which can make antibacterial agent attach on the fabric to impart fabrics antibacterial function.
Methods
1.Padding process
It is to pad the fabrics with antibacterial agent. After curing, there will be formed a layer of insoluble or slightly soluble substance on the fiber. Or the antibacterial agent will be mixed with resin to make an emulsion. And the fabrics are put into the emulsion for fully dipping, then padding and drying, and finally the resin containing antibacterial agent will be attached on the surface of fabrics.
2.Dipping process
It is to dip the fabrics with antibacterial solution for a certain time, and then dewater, dry and cure, so the antibacterial fabrics are obtained. This method requires that the antibacterial agent and fiber have strong adsorption capacity, so that the antibacterial agent can be totally absorbed by the fabrics at a low concentration.
3.Coating process
The antibacterial agent and coating agent were prepared into solution to process the fabric by coating.
4.Spraying method
It is to prepare the antibacterial agent into solution and then to spray the fabrics with the solution.
5.Microcapsule method
It is to make the antibacterial agent into microcapsule and then process the fabrics with macromolecule adhesive or coating agent. The antibacterial agent should be adapted to the processing condition of adhesive and can be penetrated into the amorphous region of fibers to increase their washing resistance.
