Raw Material and Composition
The core composition of crystal velvet is polyester that is a widely used synthetic fiber. Polyester is famous for its excellent shape retention, wrinkle resistance, elastic resilience and high strength, which provide solid basic properties for crystal velvet.
Pleuche is interwoven by silk with artificial fiber or viscose filament yarn, which is adopted double weaving process. The fundamental weave is plain weave. After being raised, it becomes a unique silk fabric.
Appearance and Handle
Crystal velvet is known for its thick fluff and brilliant diamond luster. The surface gloss is high and fluff is coral-like, which is beautiful and elegant. However, its velvet handle is a little tingling, so that it is not suitable for making summer clothing or underwear.
Pleuche also has thick fluff. The hairs are long and slightly inclined. But it may be slightly less smooth and less flat than other pile fabric. It has silk-like and smooth hand feeling. It has good tear strength. The clothing made of pleuche looks particularly upscale. But we should note that pleuche is not traditional fleece. And there may be slight hair shedding.

Other Characteristics
Crystal velvet has excellent moisture absorption, which is three times that of cotton fabrics. It has the advantages of moisture absorption, quick drying, no water stain, mildew-proof, no soils adhering and anti-bacterial, etc.
Pleuche has soft and comfortable handle. But it may be not so good in smoothness and flatness.
