1.The influence on breakage
Organzine comes out from the warp beam and is woven into fabric. It must be stretched and rubbed for thousands of times by running rollers, harness wire and reeds. The increasing of loom tension of yarns will easily cause fatigue, which causes the breakages of yarns in the weak link of organzine. So excessive loom tension is the main reason of organzine breakage.
1.The influence on fabric shrinkage
If the tension of organzine is big, when the warp and weft are interwoven, because warp compresses the weft, the buckling of weft increases, so the internal stress of weft is increased. When the fabric is drawn into the work beam, especially when comes out of the machine, the tension of the organzine disappears. Due to the “resistance” of the internal stress, the weft will produce greater back pressure on the warp. Consequently, there will come the result that warp shrinkage increase and weft shrinkage decrease.
2.The influence on hand feeling and appearance of fabric
The magnitude of loom tension of organzine will affect more on hand feeling and appearance of fabric. If the loom tension of organzine is properly controlled, the fabric surface will be flat, the texture will be clear and the hand feeling will be good. And if the tension of organzine is too big, because of excessive elongation, the fabric surface will be not plump enough. Also if the tension of organzine is too big, fabric will be too sparse.
